E-Commerce Two Step Order Form

We need the option to choose a one step or two step order form for e-commerce. We are missing out on all of the possible things with people filling out page 1 and not purchasing!

And for the 2-step order form, WHY is the shipping info in step 1?!?
Isn't the purpose of the 2-step order form so we can capture their contact info (name, email, phone) BEFORE they see that their payment information is required?
I promote an e-book as part of a book funnel, and when people land on the landing page that promotes the ebook, and they click on the "Send Me My Ebook" button, I want them to provide the contact info, and then click to move to the second step where they'll add they payment and billing information (I would change the "Shipping" title to "Billing")...
But the way it's set up now, I have to hide the shipping info because I don't want that to appear before I capture their contact information so, if they abandon the cart, it will trigger the abandoned cart workflow.

@jJacob RadcliffeCan you please elaborate here? Are you referring to adding Shipping option in order forms?

Sales & Marketing With a two-step you will gather much more emails which creates many more abandoned cart opportunities ie. more sales.
