Allow Main Accounts To Resell Products and/or Services To Sub-Accounts

Add functionality that the main account owner can mark their e-commerce store products/services available for resell (wholesale) to their sub-accounts. Please note that the reseller option is most important, adding a wholesale option is a nice-to-have function and more complex.
How It Could Work
- Account owner creates product(s)/service(s) which include the reseller price and checks a box marked "Available for Resell (Wholesale)".
- This creates a marketplace like page with all available reseller products/services that is available to sub-accounts only. It would be nice if we could select which sub-accounts or category of sub-account have access to this.
- Sub-account owners can bulk select which items they want to import to their store.
- VERY IMPORTANT- Reseller have the option to charge any amount they want ABOVE the resell price. That is what separates this from an affiliate program.
- Sub-accounts can add the newly imported product(s)/service(s) to their e-commerce store and calendars per the normal HL process.
- VERY IMPORTANT- When a payment is made, it is split between both parties. The original resell amount going to the main account holder and the added price amount going to the sub-account owner.
- OPTIONAL- Main account owner would get separate analytics on reseller sales activities including the reseller price points they are charging. Example: If I charge $100 and most reseller are charging $500, I might want to increase my resell price.
The functionality would be very similar to how the HL SAAS options work, were you (HL) charge us a set fee for Yext or WP, and we upcharge clients any price we want.
Example Use Case
Main account holder sells digital products like courses for $100. Sub-account users could then import and resell the course on their HL account for any price they want like $150. When an end user purchases the course from the sub-account owner, $100 goes to the main account holder and $50 goes to the sub-account owner.
This would work for any product such as reselling hand made goods like clothing.
Importantly, it should work for services too. For example, a photographer/videographer that creates high quality 360 video home tours for real estate agents could offer their service to brokers/real estate agents and allow them to resell the home tour service to other agents.
The process should happen automatically similar to your SAAS reseller options which may require payment options that allow split payments like Stripe Connect.
Possible Challenges
- Fulfillment - Who is responsible for fulfillment of product(s)/service(s)? How is it done?
- Communication - Who and what communications does the end user get?
Suggestion
Both challenges should be handled by main account owner. Product or service is delivered by the main account owner and they would be responsible for any white labeling of the service including communication if necessary. There are too many use cases for HL to create a system wide solution, so it should be up to the main account owner to handle if they want to resell anything.
