E-com needs the ability for a coupon that can discount shipping rates and it shows the discount in the cart at checkout.

We need an option to create coupons that can be applied toward shipping rates. Right now we can only create coupons that apply toward products. We want to be able to offer free shipping on specific products, when the coupon is applied.
We also need the option to offer free shipping when someone's order total is above a set threshold (i.e. Free shipping on orders over $75).

Totally agree, this is a must have. It isn't possible in the existing set up to just offer a simple Free Shipping Coupon. Every other ecommerce software I worked with has had this out of the gate. Should be very easy to solve.

We need the ability to offer free shipping when the customer's cart value is $X in an e-commerce store. Wix offers this as an option when setting up shipping rates, so a coupon code isn't necessary. Screenshot attached.
