It would be incredibly valuable to have the ability to track tags and their timestamps directly within the Custom Metrics dashboard in GoHighLevel.
Specifically, when tags are added to contacts, opportunities, or other entities, we’d like to see:
• Which tag was added
• When (date and time) the tag was added
• Who added the tag (user)
This data could then be incorporated into Custom Metrics or KPI dashboards, allowing for deeper performance insights.
Requested Data Points:
For each tag event, include:
• Tag name
• Associated contact/opportunity/pipeline stage
• Date & time the tag was added
• Added by (user or automation name)
Use Case / Benefit:
Our teams rely heavily on tagging to track stages, actions, and results throughout GoHighLevel.
Being able to view and report on when and by whom tags were added would allow us to:
• Build more robust KPI tracking across pipelines, campaigns, and automation.
• Measure the timing and frequency of tag activity.
• Audit data for accountability and workflow efficiency.
• Simplify integration with performance dashboards (e.g., tracking conversion events or milestone completions via tags).
Example Scenario:
For example, if a tag like “Install Scheduled” or “Job Complete” is added to a contact, we could pull that event into our KPI sheet to calculate average turnaround times, completion rates, and performance by team member.
Summary:
👉 Add the ability in Custom Metrics to include Tag Name, Added Date, and Added By fields — enabling full tracking of tag activity across GoHighLevel for reporting and KPI optimization.
