Right now, you can have a dashboard widget to show statistics about Contacts, Opportunities, and Custom Objects. But you cannot add a widget like:
  • How many Companies had associated Opportunities created this month
  • How many Companies have X, Y, Z value in a custom field
  • How many new Companies were added in a time period
  • How many Companies are assigned to each user.
We should have the same functionalities we have for Contacts, but for the Company object, so B2B businesses can track their performance based on Companies, and not based on Contacts, given that multiple contacts can be just part of the same Company, and for a B2B business, the company is a single client, no matter how many contacts they interact with in the company.
