The Dashboard Lead Count feature is great, but it does not work properly without enabling duplicate contacts(which is not ideal for many reasons). If a lead is already created in the CRM, Lead Count widget will not count them as a new lead the next time they submit a form. There are ways to track lead form submissions outside the CRM, but it gets tricky when you want to see how many leads each sales rep recieves. Simply adding a lead form submission tracking widget would allow the dashboard to accurately track the number of new leads in the CRM assigned to each user. Or adding more customization to the current Lead Count Wiget would be amazing as well!
