I have clients who are company first vs contact first, non-profit chapters and such. Being able to tag companies like we do contacts would be extremely helpful.

Yes. Please consider making this a priority. We have clients who keep asking for this along with smart lists and reporting for Companies. Most of our clients are Companies first, not contacts and this would be super beneficial for them.
