Re-Enable the system BCC setting in Email Campaigns (this was recently turned off!)

If we set up ...
Settings > Email Services > Reply & Forward Settings > BCC Emails
... it's because we want BCC emails!
We want a copy of outgoing emails, sent to a specific inbox, as a reference of our outgoing communication.
I send quotes, as emails to individuals, via Email Campaigns.
These emails have always been BCC'ed to me, respecting the BCC configuration in the settings.
A few weeks ago, the automatic BCC for Campaigns was turned off!
I assumed that this was a bug, so have been bouncing back and forward with support. Unfortunately, I have been told that the change is deliberate!
The reason is valid enough. It's to prevent someone from getting thousands of BCC emails if they send a campaign to thousands of people. But, there are other ways of resolving that issue. A blanket turn off of the feature is very frustrating.
Here are a few more thoughtful ways of resolving the issue ...
1) Can this decision be reconsidered?
- I understand that a bulk campaign for 1000 contacts would result in me getting 1000 bcc emails in my inbox. I have even done it! To a list of 2,500 contacts, and received BCC's of all of those emails. But, I would rather have that, and pay the extra cost of those emails, than not be able to have a copy of the quotes that I send out any more!
2) If it can't be reconsidered, could it at least be changed so that BCC still works for Campaigns where there are just a few recipients (say, less 5 or less)?
- This seems like a good workaround to me. I really can't see any downside of this. We would still get a BCC for individual things (like quotes) that are sent via Campaigns, but we wouldn't receive thousands of duplicate BCC's for larger campaigns.
3) Could Campaigns always just send 1 bcc email, if BCC is enabled?
- This seems like another good solution to me. Every Campaign, big or small, would just result in 1 email to the address specified in the BCC section of the settings. Again, I can see no downside to this solution.
4) A fourth option would be to add a BCC option on the Campaign sending screen.
- this would be my least favourite option as a user, and I assume it would take the most resources to implement, because it involves adding a new option to the Campaign scheduling screen. But, I'd rather have this than no longer have access to any of the quotes that I send out.
Please vote for this feature, which was randomly turned off, to be reimplemented in one of the ways listed above. Or, suggest your own solution to the issue if you have a better idea.
However it is resolved, I'm simply requesting the situation that we have always had in the past! Where important emails, sent via Email Campaigns, are also BCC'ed to us, when we have specifically asked for that to happen!
