Multiple Contacts per Opportunity

For every opportunity, there should be multiple contacts that can be associated to it both as decision makers or simply others that need to be in the loop. For example, husband and wife decision makers, and their personal trainer, the nutritionist, etc communicated with at a click without having to go from the opportunity to the contact's info, look up the saved custom field and then searching for them in Contacts and sending a separate email or phone number.

This is a pretty useless feature as it is currently implemented. All communications still go through the primary contact so I don't really see how this helps at all?
For my purposes, I have multiple stakeholders involved in a transaction and each need to be sent DIFFERENT emails when the opportunity reaches a certain stage. Please add this.
Also obviously the ability to send one email to multiple people is a must have.

Other than "viewing" the name on the Opportunity itself, I don't see a way to include this in the Opportunities List, or set up workflows based on this, or a way to view the Opportunity from the Contact record of the secondary contact. Are any of these in the works?

Ok so now that we have this ability we need a way to access those additional contacts. Please upvote my 2 suggestions, one for desktop and 2nd one for access on mobile;

John Starr seems pretty crazy to announce this feature has been added lol. You can manually add another contact, but then you can't see who's been added OR even remove them if you added them accidentally?

John Starr -- definitely a glitch/bug. I could see additional contacts in list view, but not when I open up the card. -- So I went to re-add the same additional contact, which shows up with an X (remove) when you first add it (but they disappear from the card entirely after saving).
So workaround is find additional contact in list view>re-add>remove>save.

John Starr Pallavi Kothari - still having this same issue with a client. The opportunity is linking in the additional contacts record, but they are not showing in the opp card itself after saving. See here for contact David, the opp is linked to his contact record, but opening the card, he doesn't show in the card as additional contact.

Pallavi Kothari, is there a planned release for Workflows to notify only the Primary Contact or Primary plus Additional Contacts or Primary Contact plus Additional Contacts and Followers or only Followers?
Or is this functionality already present?
If not already available or already planned, do we (the users) need to request this as a separate Ideas Board suggestion?

Pallavi Kothari is it possible to add or remove associated contacts via Workflow? I couldn't find that option even after enabling the feature.
In our case, and I suppose many others, adding contacts to a deal should be an automatic process, depending on specific rules. Right now, I can only add extra contacts (up to 10) in the main opportunity form, right?

Pallavi Kothari I dont think I would call this complete.... it doesn't actually add any of the functionality that the community needs.
- When a note is added to an opportunity - ALL contacts related to the opportunity should get teh note (since they insist notes are tied to contacts not to opps)
- When I look at a contact that is a follower on an opportunity, I should see the opportunity in the opportunities section.
- MOST IMPORTANT - there needs to be a way to see all the communications from all the contacts on an opportunity in one place.

Pallavi Kothari I am sure everyone appreciates the ability to do this but I dont believe this is complete. Sure I can add the names into the opportunity but it does nothing other than being able to see the name. What if I have multiple people I am dealing with in the organization and I assigned a task for my marketing person to reach their marketing person? They wouldn't know who it was if they just went into the opportunity. So I think that having a way to go into the opportunity and seeing and being able to click on the person based on their role and it open from there is key. Also If I have multiple people in my business working with multiple people in the same opportunity, we need to see all the work happening in the same place or view. I hope this makes sense.

I think this would be great with one caveat. The ability to deal with the parties separately within the opportunity. Like a drop down to select who within that opportunity needs what information and make it accessible in an automations. In our business there often needs to be multiple people involved in an opportunity. But depending on their role they need different information. The ability to add at least 5 contacts per opportunity who be ideal for us. This would also potentially make a great workaround for project management.

Zamir Javer Hi Zamir, unfortunately no response. I was hoping at least for customizable objects but there seems to be no news for these either. highlevel is certainly light years ahead of many other competitors in some aspects but the CRM part still seems very immature to me. I hope we can have news as soon as possible otherwise I will have to stay in ActiveCampaign and close the ghl subscription

We are Mortgage Brokers and many times many people are part of the same loan, this means we want to send the same communication/marketing campaign with the same information to many people.Right now there is no way to CC a person on the marketing campaigns we add the opportunities to, and it does not make sense for us to make a new Opportunity for a co-borrower or the Realtor who needs to keep up with everything we send to the borrowers.I think everyone working with Loans would benefit as well as any type of service or product which the customers or clients are composed of a group of people.
