Missing Date Time Custom Field

Set Event Start Date is looking for a Date and Time Custom Field, but you can't even create a custom field of type Date/Time despite being asked for 2-3 years ago and being basic to all CRMs.

We need this functionality as well. Since we can't use the calendar booking form to select multiple time slots, we manually created one using a form submission. However, the only problem is that we can't directly book the user into the calendar. There is a disconnect in the system.

For anyone who comes across this, I have a workaround that should be totally unnecessary, but should work in a lot of use-cases.
- Create a custom field for time which is a single drop down.
Make every option a "time" in the format HH:mm AM/PM - so 08:00 AM/ 14:00 PM for example (I did every hour and half hour from 8am to 8pm, I hope no one needs to add :15/:45)
- Create a Custom Value or custom field called "dateTime" or whatever you want really this will only be used to store a formatted datetime in a workflow
- in the workflow, choose custom code
- Inputs are "date" and "time". Choose your Lovely date Custom field for date and the new custom field for time
- Add some java script to convert the 2 input values into 1 output value in the right format (ask chatgpt)
Note that the format needed for various date based things can differ (excellent...). But I think for most, use this format:
DD-MMM-YYYY HH:MM, Ex : 21-OCT-2021 08:30 AM
Also note that custom code will occur additional charges.
- Add the output into the Custom Value or update the custom field: should look like this: {{custom_code.1.output.result}}
- Use the custom value/field as the Event Start Date/Book Appointment, etc.

Because you can't. No idea why. You have to add the additional step.

Not having a date/time field is a major roadblock for us to migrate our clients from other services.

This really should be an option for a custom field, as the other comments mention it is a basic field for all other CRMs
