I want to make my WL software truly All-in-One by providing job creation and management in addition to marketing a local service-based business.
There are these item categories in GHL currently - contact, (cal) event, task, etc and I'd like to request a new category - JOB - so if a client is a service-based business for example, they can easily use the job to:
  • Create jobs from Proposals & Estimates (standalone or recurring)
  • Map Contacts
  • Manage staff members & their work schedules - (Revamp 'My Staff' page)
  • Assign tasks and/or checklists for that job type
  • Create new or map existing quotes/estimates/proposals
  • Take payments (both one-time & recurring)
  • Schedule, view, and manage jobs & bookings
  • Updating jobs and tracking progress for everyone - business owner, staff & customer
  • Add quality audit or compliance specification for each job and record evidence
  • Take pictures or record videos using the mobile app (for sharing with customers or recording evidence).
  • Assign items to every job and manage their inventory (optional but useful)
  • Track key business metrics - view the number and value of completed and pending jobs by week, month or year.
  • Providing an end customer portal for viewing and managing bookings will be just ideal. Here's that request.
Most tech providers for service businesses have a job feature that's quite useful to clients. (Jobber, HouseCallPro, JobNimbus, HubScape, Launch27, ConnecTeam, MaidCentral, CleanSure, etc.)
