When changing the Owner field from within Contact Details, the selected user is added as a Follower instead of becoming the Owner.

Expected behavior: Selecting a user in the Owner field should update the contact owner.

Actual behavior: The selected user is added as a Follower, while the Owner remains unchanged.

This issue only occurs when changing the Owner from the Contact Details panel. Assigning or reassigning the owner from an Opportunity works as expected.
