Allow Special Characters in Staff Member Names

Previously, GoHighLevel allowed special characters (such as |) in staff member names. This made it possible to format sender names like:
Brock | XYZ Business Name
This functionality was extremely valuable for client-facing communication, especially for:
• Multi-location businesses
• Agencies managing multiple brands in one account
• Clear email/SMS sender identification
Benefits included:
• Immediate clarity on who the message is from and which business/location
• Improved trust and recognition in client inboxes
• Cleaner branding without needing awkward email signatures or workarounds
Recently, this has been restricted, removing the ability to use these characters.
Feature request:
Please re-enable support for commonly used special characters in staff member names.
This was a small feature with a big UX and branding impact, and many clients found it genuinely helpful.
