It would be very important to add
search or filter functionality when typing inside the GHL Dropdown and Multi-Select fields
, especially when these fields are used internally in contacts and opportunities.
Nowadays, when a field contains a large number of options, the user has to manually scroll through the entire list to find the value they need. This becomes very impractical when managing hundreds of options, such as products, services, locations, categories, professionals, and others.
The expected behavior would be very simple:
  • Click on the Dropdown.
  • Start writing.
  • Automatically filter the options based on the text entered.
  • Select the corresponding result.
GHL already uses dropdowns with search in other parts of the platform, so it would be
very useful and easy
to extend this same behavior to
Custom Fields of the Dropdown and Multi-Select
type.
The lack of basic functionality, such as being able to search through an extensive list, causes uncomfortable situations in front of customers.
