We'd love to see GoHighLevel add native support for shared team mailboxes (like sales@company.com, support@company.com) where multiple users can access the same inbox within a subaccount, with reliable inbound email synchronization that doesn't require emails to be initiated from GHL first.
Currently, the 2-way sync only captures replies to emails sent from GHL or requires manual BCC workarounds, which means cold inbound emails from new prospects often don't appear in the CRM at all. This creates significant gaps in our communication tracking and forces teams to work across multiple platforms.
Adding IMAP/POP3 polling or enhanced OAuth permissions to automatically capture ALL incoming emails—regardless of whether the contact exists or who initiated the conversation—would transform GHL into a true unified inbox solution.
This would allow entire teams to manage departmental email addresses collaboratively within GHL, with proper permissions, automatic contact creation from inbound emails, and the ability to route conversations intelligently based on the recipient address (not just contact owner).
This capability is standard in most modern CRMs and would eliminate the need for workarounds like email forwarding rules or third-party integrations, making GHL the true all-in-one platform it's designed to be.
