Hello Everyone,

Thank you for sharing your use cases here. We’re building keyword search in Conversations this quarter. Since search can be quite broad with many possible directions, we’re starting with the most common use cases for Phase 1:

If you’re already inside a conversation, you can search for a keyword and quickly find all matching messages in that thread.
If you remember a word/phrase but not the contact, you can search across all conversations to see where it was mentioned. Here we’re also considering filters like message channel, message direction, date range, contact, contact owner, contact follower on this global search, to help narrow down the results. Adding a few images below to give a sense of how this could work.

Susmitha Damarla This sounds great! Since you are already working in the conversations, can you please make the interface a little more clear? This in particular is very confusing because whenI click "All" - all never comes up. I usually have to look around a while before I find all conversations. You have to click "all" and then "all" again in the top icons.

Search Keywords From Conversations

It would be very helpful if there was the ability to search for a keyword / phase inside a contacts conversation and also the ability to search across all conversations.

At the minute it takes a long time to scroll through each contact record expanding each email our trying to look for a word that was mentioned.

Use cases:

For example I remember that I spoke to someone about golfing but I can't remember who. So I go to conversations and search for the word golf to see any mentions of the word in any conversations with all contacts.

2.) For example I know I spoke to Joe Bloggs about golf but can't remember the full details of what was said, so I open Joe Bloggs' contact record and search for keyword golf and it shows each email, and SMS etc for any mentions of the world golf.

It's crazy this doesn't exist since that's how all other chat search platforms work, this is extremely unintuitive.

I was wondering why my search bar wasn't working and then a friend told me it's only to search the contact name!!! Crazy!!

Currently the biggest issue. Crews send an image and address verifying it was serviced. When dispute of service comes from customer we can't just search for the address and quickly review the images and time stamps. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST. How did you even go live and think this isn't fundamental. The crappiest of VOIP systems out there has this ability.
