At the moment, deleting conversations — particularly when performing a bulk delete — happens too easily, with no safeguard or confirmation like the one shown when deleting contacts.

This creates a high risk of accidental and irreversible data loss, as deleted conversations cannot be recovered. Our team recently experienced this issue and lost multiple conversations permanently.

Suggested improvement:

Before deleting a conversation (or multiple conversations), display a confirmation modal requiring the user to type “DELETE” to confirm.

This behavior should mirror the existing protection used when deleting contacts.
