Custom communication channels for contacts (WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, anything)

I'd like the ability to hire out or create my own communication methods to use to interact with contacts in the CRM. Once I create a communication method for my own uses, I might want to sell or give it to other agencies through the marketplace.Today, I need to communicate through WhatsApp since my audience uses WhatsApp almost exclusively. But, I currently don't have a way to use the CRM with WhatsApp, so my staff must work double to go back to the CRM to update contacts after external WhatsApp conversations. The CRM already has email, FB and SMS. But there's potential for many more types of communication if the app had the proper hooks and integration points for custom communication methods.

This is much needed for companies like us that run multiple channels like 3 instagram pages, 6 whatsapp numbers, etc. If GHL doesn't do it we can build it via API its fine (similar that you would do on Trengo.com, Timelines.ai, Front or similar). At the end GHL gives the most value when does the CRM + Inbox thing really really well (and currently can't because it doesn't have custom channels)

I just posted something very similar. The GHL application is already using the endpoint to do this. Would be nice to make it publicly available.

Social Tech: LAME - This GHLPrime app you are mentioning has literally stole from AppLevel their entire documentation. This is cheap lame copy could have AT LEAST elaborated it themselves. Pathetic, it's incredible how people just steal valuable material that took days and days of hard work from others.

Yes this is Highly needed. We have plenty of incoming channels on CRMs like Amocrm but on GHL we can't put our multiple whatsapp channels both Whatsapp Business (physical device) numbers and Whatsapp Business API (non physical device)
