It's almost as if email management was an afterthought. We need GHL to support multi-inbox departmental email routing and individual user-level inboxing, with user-based permissions, proper parsing of the inbound To: address, and logic to auto-assign messages based on who the email was actually sent to, not just who owns the contact. Ideally, this functions like a modern shared inbox system, enabling structured team access and accurate user-level message visibility for managing direct and departmental communications independently. I'm scouring the ideas board to find anyone discussing this because I've heard something is in the works. And I'm hopeful that what I've heard is true!
