2 way sync auto create new contacts w/ 1st inbound email

I see a few posts requesting an auto-creation of new contacts, which is great! But if an inbound email is received to my Gmail that is 2-way synced and it auto creates the contact in the GHL subaccount without forwarding the 1st email. Then it still doesn't work perfectly and requires manual work to once again. So could we please have a 2-way sync that auto creates a new contact in GHL if the contact does not exist in the Google account and carries over the initial email? Thank you!

It's important to have a real 2 way sync. It doesn't make sense that the contact/conversation only goes to the CRM if the contact already exists in the CRM. It should be natural to sync incoming emails directly to the CRM conversations/contacts. Other than that this is not a 2 way sync.

Currently, GHL only tracks emails sent from within the platform or tied to an existing contact. CRMs like Follow Up Boss already show all conversations and appointments where a contact’s email is included — even if they’re CC’d or BCC’d. It’s not a privacy issue, just better functionality.
This improvement would make the Conversations tab a real communication hub.

We've hit this wall too many times. Currently have to check both Gmail and GHL conversations because you never know what's missing. The sandbox idea for unknown contacts sounds perfect honestly.

This is a BIG issue! If you manage your emails in Conversations (which is a great way of doing it), you still don't know which emails in Gmail haven't been dealt with, as they all show as unread still. I could have 50 emails in a day, with 49 of them being from Contacts already in GHL, which means that I have to go through all of these 49 again in Gmail so that I can find the single email from a new contact. It is doubling up on the email management.
Also, does it need just a contact in GHL for it to sync? Or do you have to have sent that Contact an email first for the sync to become active for that particular Contact? I keep seeing information that suggests both.
I am currently finding that some emails are not syncing despite the Contact already having an ongoing conversation by email. This is a major part of the system, and we need to be able to trust it.
Can I suggest a form of Sandbox for incoming emails that don't have a matching Contact, with a simple Create Contact option, Ignore, Block or DELETE etc.

This is a HUGE issue. The current option is NOT 2-Way Sync. Please include a bright red banner. We spent hours trying to make this work, even with support and they didn't know this.
