Let Us Turn Off Voicemail Completely on Phone Numbers

Right now, there’s no way to just let a number ring out and end — GoHighLevel forces a voicemail, even if you leave it blank or upload a silent file. That creates a clunky experience for callers and makes the missed call text-back feature feel less smooth.
A lot of small businesses — especially salons and service-based pros — don’t want voicemail at all. They just want a number that rings a couple of times, ends, and then texts the client back automatically.
This would be a game-changer for agencies too. We could give clients a clean, hands-free number to capture leads via SMS without the hassle of calls or voicemails. It’s a simple toggle:
Voicemail: On or Off
Please add this — it would open up a whole new use case and help bring more small businesses onto the platform.

Sam Johns One alternative is setting the outgoing call timeout in the phone settings to 20 or 30 seconds. That way the outgoing call will stop after that time, and in the majority of those cases it will not hit voicemail, unless the receiving caller pushes them to voicemail during that time. I know its not a full solution but it is a good interim alternative.
