Add separate Manual & Workflow-Based AI Sleep Settings
A
Arman Kouchak
This is a major issue. Every time a message is sent through a workflow, the AI conversation stops when the auto sleep toggle is on and there's no way to control this behavior through settings. We urgently need separate settings to manage when the AI should go to sleep.
Specifically, we need:
- An option to put the bot to sleep when a message is sent manually.
- An option to put the bot to sleep when a message is sent through a workflow.
Additionally, there's no way to manually put the bot to sleep from the mobile app. This is a critical missing feature and is creating a poor experience for our customers.
When a message is sent through workflow, (like a text message) there is no reason for the AI stops continuing the conversation, it's a very bad user experience

yea - this is annoying - I have people responding to my workflow messages too fast before my conversation AI is back active

This is a must, also it should have the option to set different times for manual and workflow messages. Because maybe I only need it to stop for a few minutes if the lead triggers a workflow but I want it to stop for a day if we are answering manually

Abhishek Kumar What do you mean with that? I mean, do I need to go to configuration in mobile? It is enabled by default in mobile?
Is there any help article related to?

Esteban Méndez S putting a bot to sleep is now available on mobile .Click on the 3 dots at top right corner . the last option is edit ai settings access that .
turn the toggle off to to put bot to sleep through workflow or manual message, so when there is a message sent from workflow the bot wont go to sleep
and if you text manually , you can turn the bot off through mobile app or the green icon in web app
If you didnt understand it .let me know I can jump in a call with you send me your email addresss

Abhishek Kumar, ok, I understand it now. The user in the app has to reply and turn the bot off. I thought it was automatically turned off if user reply the contact in the app. Not quite what we are asking for, but it is a workaround. Thanks
