UX - Opportunity and Appointment Buttons on Contact Card

The new UX is a nice update for the contact card, but I feel there should be a clearer way to create an appointment and/or opportunity from the individual contact page.
I understand they are in the small icon sections to the right, but from my UX perspective it's an extra click when I feel it shouldn't be. I've had several clients confused about how to do this with the new update.
The old way wasn't much better, but both opportunities and appointments are probably the lifeblood of most people's CRM system so why not make it as easy as possible to create these from the place most of us are spending our time on?

Agree a 100%, I use a huge list to call people automatically one after the other and since yesterday it's been incredibly frustrating to have to "drag people in and out" of opportunities instead of having the option of doing it in place quickly.
The old way was not perfect, but at least give us an option to change opportunities quickly inside the contact section instead of having to change the tab on each call. Very frustrating.
