Updating Primary Phone Number

Can't we update primary phone number with API as there is an option(radio button) in Multiple phone section to choose a primary number.

Teddy Benz: The API's are not updated yet but I found the way to update them via API and set the primary number.
I have to make some adjustments in the contact numbers before sending through API.
