Set "Last Notes" as Default Tab in Contact View

It would be extremely helpful to allow users to set the default tab that appears when opening a Contact record. Currently, the "Activity" tab loads by default, but for many teams, the "Notes" tab is more relevant and actionable.
We’re requesting an option to:
Set "Notes" as the default tab instead of "Activity"
OR allow users to choose their preferred default tab (Activity, Notes, Tasks, etc.)
Optionally, show the Last Note directly in the Contact list view for quick access
This would streamline contact reviews, improve internal communication, and reduce clicks across teams that rely heavily on Notes.

Agreed that this should either be the default, or an option to be able to choose as the default. It would be ideal to also be able to "pin" a particular note at the top of the notes section, so we dont have to scroll looking for something that is important that was put in a while back where other notes put in after it show above the important note.

Please don't implement this request in a way that depends on the local cache. It should be a setting at the account level.

I agree — having “Notes” as the default or letting users choose their own default tab would save time, reduce clicks, and improve workflow efficiency for teams who rely on notes daily.

I agree with Manjunath — there should be an option for users to set their preferred default columns in the Contacts tab, so the view doesn’t reset to the system defaults every time it’s opened.
