Currently, the contact search bar is accent-sensitive, which means that searching for a name without the proper accents (e.g., typing "Mate" instead of "Máté") will not return matching results.
This can be inconvenient, especially for users working with languages like Spanish, French, or Portuguese, where accents are common but often omitted in searches.
Suggested Improvement:
Implement accent-insensitive (diacritic-insensitive) search logic in the CRM, so that contacts with accented characters in their names, emails, or other fields can still be found when searched with unaccented input.
Example:
Typing "Mate" should return:
"Máté",
"Maté",
"Matěj",
etc.
This will enhance usability and reduce friction when searching for contacts across different languages.
