Phone number extensions

I have a CSV file full of leads and some of the phone numbers that I have on file have extensions:
(ie. +14045556789 x1200)
Further, when I attempt to add an extension to a phone number on a form, the form just deletes any "extraneous" numbers as I'm trying to type them.
Is there any way that we can get an option to allow contacts to enter an extension for their phone number into a contact form?
Something like this:
Phone | Ext.
Maybe like an extra
input
area on the phone
input group/field that I can enable/disable accordingly?Log In

You can technically work around this today with a separate custom field for the extension, but that doesn't really solve the problem — you still have to remember or manually look up the extension every time.
What's actually missing is support for the ";" wait character directly in the phone field itself (e.g. +14045556789;1200). That's standard dialer behavior: it connects the main number, pauses, then lets you tap once to send the extension instead of having to recall or type it. Right now there's no way to store that in HighLevel at all — a custom field just isn't the same thing.
Native support for ";" in the phone field would actually solve this, no workaround needed.

This is an absolute must if HighLevel wants to compete as a CRM

We absolutely need this. It's nearly impossible to serve B2B cleints without this.

This is crucial and needs to be implemented ASAP.

This would be great for B2B companies.

You can do this by creating a custom field, but this is so common that there has to be a way to have multiple contacts with the same phone number, and an extension!!! Right now you get an error if you use the same phone number for two different contacts at the same company, so really the custom field doesn't work well for this either.
