A quick win would be to move the "Hide empty fields" checkbox into the frozen pane area, sometimes while scrolling one might realise some extra info could be filled in, but the only way to do that is to scroll all the way back up to untick the box to show empty fields to populate. See screenshot for what I mean regarding placement.
