This would be useful to move between relevant contacts more efficiently. In the same way there is a linked opportunity for the client. Have a field just under opportunities. And it auto fills when you type the desired contact from the contacts list.

Linking contacts helps when we have multiple contacts for one organisation, so we can easily see the relationships.
It can also be used to track referrals and other relationships between people, which helps us to understand complex relationships.
To get a spec for the development team get a free Insight.ly CRM account because they have got the perfect solution

Excellent request, I'm a Realtor and I always have husband and wife talking to me so is easy to get confuse. Linking the contact cards somehow is a must.

I’m so excited about this feature! I’m
Hoping we will be able to have seperate emails for the contacts but only one credit card to manage them all.
My client sees all family members separately and want to have reminders go out to each one only one card to bill.

My use case is for veterinarians. I think the example is fairly obvious. Human(s) own multiple pets. The pets don't have contact info but we need to keep track them , add pics, docs, invoices , etc

I do insurance and have a lot of spouses, children, and parents in one household. I have a contact for each policyholder. There are only so many custom fields I can have before it gets too messy.
I see two ways this can help me.
- When I work with a family, I have to open a bunch of tabs in order to efficiently look at all their policies.
- Being able to designate someone as a primary contact would eliminate duplicate messages going out and save time and frustration for everyone involved.
What would be amazing is to have a button inside the contact that says "add family member" and then automatically links the new contacts to a "household name" field.

My Use Case - Collect and store information about all family members involved at a church. Organize members into households.

Here's my use case - We serve a community for independent sales professionals that sell high-end kitchen knife sets and kitchen wares (pots/pans etc) - typically the FAMILY owns 1 set of knives and kitchen wares. The husband has the billing info, but the wife is the main decision maker and may buy more product. They both have different contact info but need to be linked.
Another use case is if we sell engraved luxury knife sets to realtors and business owners who are giving these sets out to high-end clients - we need to be able to link the various decision makers like the Purchasing Manager or Marketing Director to the main decision make like the CEO or CFO.
