In Smart Lists, users should be able to group list views by an additional field after selecting a primary sort field. This would make it easier to scan, analyze, and act on large datasets by creating clear sections within an already-ordered list. The added flexibility helps users spot patterns, organize their work the way they think about it, and reduce the need to export data for manual review. This is a function that Excel and Google Sheets do very well.
