Hi, I have been trying to get started using high-level for about 6 months now. The biggest reason I can not make it useful is that I need to create several hundred fields, and this takes way more time than I have to set up. With most CRMs and marketing systems you can do a CSV upload, and map any existing fields, and create new ones with header names from the csv quickly. Why can't this be done in highlevel? Any plans to make it easy to get your custom fields created and be able to make use of the great features it has to offer? Is there a workaround to having to create hundreds or thousands of fields one at a time? Also, once you have this many, there is no way to organize them into groups or categories, so you can never find anything. It is just one huge messy bucket of unusable data as far as a CRM goes. For our usecase, we are only going to use it to send emails and other marketing campaigns, and use hubspot as a CRM. But it would be nice if we could use it for everything.

It would be nice to be able to import a CSV and have the option to auto map the unmatched headers to new custom fields. I would really help spend up CRM migrations to GHL.

This is different than important custom fields from a snapshot.

The ability to import custom fields when they do not already exist in any sub account would help speed up the process of migrating clients.

Example: A client is migrating from a different software, we exported all their contacts to CSV and they have 150 custom fields for each contact record. To get that client migrated, we will have to manually create the 150 custom fields, which will take a lot of time.

Solution: Enable the ability to upload custom fields from a CSV. Practically, this could be done in the contact import process, allowing an option to create new custom fields during migration (using the custom fields information from the CSV as a source) and then mapping the respective information that is included in the CSV during the import process.

Example: The CSV includes a column titled "Favorite Color" and all 100,000 contacts have a varying values: "blue", "red", "green", "black", etc. During import, the custom field titled "Favorite Color" should be created and the value that is imported into the field should be "blue" or "red" or "green" etc, to match the value that is linked to that specific contact in the CSV.

Maybe using a "_" where the spaces are, or even (ideally) allowing the person importing to choose their naming convention structure in order to keep them consistent with others that are already created.

We have over 200 custom fields. Would be great to be able to move them between accounts instead of doing it manually for each one.

Is there a way we can have a template (sheets / excel) where we can bulk add custom fields? This would speed up on-boarding with accounts.

In some cases when a list gets imported into the Contacts, and the Name fields are all the same due to prior field codes, or previous forms didn't collect the proper information, it would be nice to bulk edit those particular contacts and remove their names in the name fields for the purpose of sending out a campaign to have the customers update their information. As apposed to editing all 999 contacts with the same Null identifier in their name fields.

I did a big import today. Here are some additional fields that would be helpful during the import:

Company Name

Job Title

Phone and Mobile Phone

Address 2 (when there's additional info needed)

Website URL

Facebook

Twitter
