Customize Contact page layout

Both our marketing and sales users very much dislike the current Contact page layout. The conversation section takes up so much space and all the info (fields) is crammed into a small column. We can't even collapse sections. There's a lot of other smaller layout things we'd like to control as well. (Love the way SFDC allows complete control over object page layouts.)

I agree! It would be much easier if there was an opportunity to change a contact layout.

Adding to this, as it's closely related. Please allow us to customize the layout/fields that appear in the right-hand customer panel (slim panel), when on the conversations page. there are key custom fields we need to see in there to avoid having to open the contact up in a new tab and scroll down to those key details.

I would have thought this would be a no brainer thumbs up, push it to the top for most... This seems like such a basic/standard function. Every orgs workflow is a little different but you can definitely tell a NON-sales person designed the current contact layout in GHL. Contact Page Layout needs to be as customizable as a website.
Also, this was 2 years ago.... please get this going NOW!

Customise Contacts Page According to Contact Type

Now that we can add contact types we need to also be able to customise the entire contact page according to the type, i.e. one of our contact types is sub-contractor who does field service work for us and we needed to store information on the sub contractor in his file, but we cant do this as then we will be adding so many fields that will show up for all custom types
we do this in another business that we use salesforce on and its called ''Page Layout'' and you can edit every page layout associated to the contact type
would be happy to get on a call and discuss/show the way its used by us now

Absolutely! we have a similar use case. we will have some contacts that are contractors who facilitate workshops that we host so only need a small set of fields visible on their contact records and then we will have contacts that are registering for our workshops where we need all kinds of other data and fields to set. i would love to not have to have both sets of fields visible in one contact record. I know you can hide empty fields but i would love to be able to keep some of those empty fields visible because i'll need them for a specific contact type.

Yes, I would love to see this option!
