Contact ID Generation

We propose an essential new feature within the Contacts section of GoHighLevel: the automatic generation of a unique, one-time, 6 or 7-digit Contact Code for every new contact. This unique identifier would address the current challenge where duplicate email addresses or phone numbers prevent saving distinct contacts, even if they represent different individuals or entities. By providing a permanent, non-changing Contact Code, users could effortlessly locate and manage specific records, regardless of shared contact information, thereby enhancing data integrity, improving search efficiency, and ensuring that every individual or business interaction can be uniquely tracked and accessed within the system.
