Pick Blue or Green, and have someone on the dev team make all of them the same color. Do not use that color for anything other than SAVE/SUBMIT. USE colors to tell us what to do, so we don't have to stop, read, interpret, question, slow down, or get confused. Teach us that a green button always means SAVE without thinking about it. Please work on these inconsistencies. For example, when we change a Contact field, the button to Save it, is green. But in the same part of the software, if we change a Company record field, the button color is blue.

This sort of enhancement is easy, low level, and could be assigned to one person permanently. And would make a difference to those of us who wish to not pull any more of their own hair out.
