Be able to rearrange the columns above the smart list / contacts

When selecting which fields show up next to the contacts in the contacts page / smartlist page, your selected columns appear at the end (total far right ) of the page. It would be greatly usefully to be able to arrange the order easily so that they could be compared and or prioritized to your individual needs and liking.

I would like the ability to arrange the columns from left to right, possibly a click and drag from the column drop-down, so that I could arrange the columns as needed.
By default it shows, Name, Phone, Email, (left to right), then tags, last activity, etc.
I would like to be able to modify this, and save my view, so that I see Name, Phone, Email, job title (custom field), business name... from left to right
