Archive contacts

It would be wonderful if we could archive contacts so that we can keep them in our CRM, but not have them in the "active" list when we send emails to our mailing list.
For example, if someone has unsubscribed, or if it's a Messenger contact so there is no email.
We can archive them so we can still have their information, but they wouldn't be included in an "all contacts" list for a newsletter.
When we send the newsletter, it should say "send to all ACTIVE" contacts, rather than "all contacts".
Will keep the email list healthier, and make our metrics better.

Seems like a no-brainer. Why not give better tools to help remove the clutter? The fact that this request, which is among the most simple things to implement, hasn't gotten traction or even into the pipeline kind of demonstrates how dysfunctional the GHL roadmap is.

I agree that I would like to have the option to archive contacts without having to use a filter list. We get a lot of calls that end up missed but because of our automations we have it set up to create a contact because it sends them a follow up text. We want to have these numbers saved in case it is an actual person but not have them cluttering up our active contacts.

Kaitlyn Hayes 1000% yes. This is the reality for most ppl actually using GHL. Unimaginable how this isn't implemented yet.

Automatically filter out all contacts/threads that have been archived. If the user wants to find an archived contact/message, whey can deselect this filter.
