For mobile service businesses like mobile car valeting, many customers prefer to decide how they will pay after making a booking (online, card on arrival or cash).
Currently, if a booking is created with Pay on Arrival and I later send a payment link so the customer can pay online, GoHighLevel creates a second payment request instead of updating the original booking. This results in duplicate payment records and duplicate invoices, making reconciliation difficult.
A better solution would be either:
* Allow customers to choose their preferred payment method after completing the booking.
* Or provide a “Request Payment” button on an existing booking/appointment that sends a payment link linked to the original booking. Once paid, it should update the same booking and generate only one invoice and one payment record.
This would significantly improve workflows for mobile service businesses and prevent duplicate payments, invoices, and manual corrections.
