I agree in my business I keep track of several different contact types, leads, customers, vendors, partners are just a few. Being able to track them all in one CRM would be nice.

Core Platform: I do not see how this is complete as there is no way to add another contact type. Am I missing something here?

DrB Ingram: Go to settings, then custom field settings, then click on folders, click on the "contact" folder. Find the "contact type" field, click the three dots on the right and edit the field. Here you can add as many contact types/categories as you'd like.

Yes please add this. What about business partners?

Here to ask the same thing. Definately need the ability to add more types

Yeah it's kind of limiting, depending on the team/industry they might use this for internal tagging of contact types. Would like the option to go into custom fields and add a few ourselves

Would really love to have a lead type that is not yet a contact. My contact list is full of phone number only contacts, most spam calls, that I'm constantly having to clean out. Would be nice to bring in a call, chat, DM, etc. as a lead then have a button on the record that says "add contact" or "delete lead". Marketing360 has this feature and it would help to keep a cleaner contact list to market to.
