Add contacts' "title" field to the import function

Please add the "title" field as an option when we're importing from a CSV. Makes a big difference to our sales process since we know the job roles.

I'm thrilled I can now add additional values to the Contact Type field! I've done that in the Custom Fields areas. But, when I import contacts, the Contact Type field is not available in step 2 "Map columns in your file to contact field properties".
Am I missing something? How do I update Contact Type field during contact import?

You can't update field values on the "Contact Type" field when importing CSVs.
This makes life very, very difficult. Please allow us to update like any other field.
