Issue:
Pulling UTM data from built-in report is pretty rough, so we created UTM Custom Fields for our contacts so we can sort and export the traffic data.
Dynamic value (Attribution fields) under Workflows is perfect, except it’s missing fields like Ad ID and Ad Set ID.
The funny thing is HL is capturing that data, but they just haven’t enabled it for Workflows.
As of right now, the attribution source shows per contact but if you try to update a custom field with the dynamic attribution info for AD ID and ADSET ID it doesn’t show.
But it DOES SHOW Campaign Name, Campaign ID etc.
What this will fix:
  1. Subpar ad optimization due to lack of UTM reporting
  2. Inaccurate ad reporting due to lack of ad id in the UTM data
  3. Loss of time and money that is wasted on a suboptimal ad
Benefits:
Easier to track and compile the data with workflows and automation because the UTM data can be added to a custom file dynamically.
