Any news on this profile picture issue? Well, the GHL has a bug that it is not possible to change or remove the profile picture and the error photo after 15 days on average as shown in the screenshot below:

A BIG part of ANY CRM is being able to put a name to face (Profile Picture) ..Why is this ONLY available when you first add a contact..Having to work around this by creating a duplicate contact and then merging them is crazy considering how important this is and how long GHL has been running. It's 101 in any CRM solution to be able to add a profile picture to a contact. It amazes me that this is still not available??? Serioulsy

I don't actually care about the profile picture itself, but I want to use as "badges" that serves of a quick reference of user status: VIP, lead, etc

Absolutely MIND BLOWING that this hasn't been implemented after 300+ up votes and 3 years of requests. Especially considering the functionality is already there, just need to add the field on the contact page.

Having a contact's photo after networking events is very helpful. How many likes does a request need before it is implemented? Presently, this has 316 and the request is almost 4 years old.

I found a workaround....
Step 1: create a new contact with the same name, and the correct profile image.
Step 2: Merge the two contacts ensuring you have everything selected from the original version, and the Profile Image selected from the new contact.
But if you merge a contact who is in a Membership / Community group, I found that I had to rejoin the group after merging two contacts for a group member.
