Sales & Marketing further update: the "Google Contact Created" Trigger appears to not work at all, because it only lets you bring in First Name, Last Name, or Full Name - but not Email or Phone or anything else.
AND - you can only Trigger on "Contact Created", not "Contact Updated" so there's only one chance at the very beginning to have a contact record's information "sync" - this isn't really sync, it's a one time push that doesn't work. Please let's upgrade this asap!

Sales & Marketing The basic version of this is in Workflows, although you have to add an odd "Array Formatter" step that they tell you nothing about in the documentation. But now the issue is - you can ONLY add 1 Phone Number or 1 Email Address to a Google Contact - which, for many of us sales, is not ideal, since we often have both say a work and personal Email address for our contacts. Can we just get basic, obvious Google Contacts Sync items like this working?!

It looks as if many people have been asking for this. Most people use google. I have google contacts on my phone and when I am out networking I add contacts on my phone. That's where it stops! currently we must then add a contact again into GHL. It would be better if GHL and Google contacts does a 2way sync to make our lives better using GHL. That way we save time using GHL and our contacts are saved on both platforms automatically. After all we all use GHL to simplify our life, not add more work.

Yeah this is pretty huge. You would think that "2-Way Sync" with Gmail is actually 2-way sync with all emails - not only the emails which are recieved from existing contacts!

Does anyone know if this is already fixed? It's a shame because one of the things my clients demand is that this data be synchronized

I was frustrated by this so I built a private Gmail Add-On that let's me check if an email sender is an existing contact and if not, I can create them and their business in GHL. I didn't want a full sync as it would dump everything into GHL. I wanted to push only specific contacts.
It's a private add-on for now but if there is a lot of interest I could look at adding it to the Google Marketplace. It would have to be paid (low price) to cover dev and maintenance. I'd need to understand the key features needed.

This is a shame. This is a feature that the majority of CRMs offer. Since it's been this long HL should go the extra mile and integrate fully with Google's Workspace more fluidly. Drive, Calendar, and Google My Business are already featured, but they should have a single login, dedicated space, and connection for all the aforementioned. #urgent
