It looks as if many people have been asking for this. Most people use google. I have google contacts on my phone and when I am out networking I add contacts on my phone. That's where it stops! currently we must then add a contact again into GHL. It would be better if GHL and Google contacts does a 2way sync to make our lives better using GHL. That way we save time using GHL and our contacts are saved on both platforms automatically. After all we all use GHL to simplify our life, not add more work.

GHL NEEDS to get the contacts to sync. This may be the one hangup that prevents us from using GHL and going somewhere else. us

Yeah this is pretty huge. You would think that "2-Way Sync" with Gmail is actually 2-way sync with all emails - not only the emails which are recieved from existing contacts!

Does anyone know if this is already fixed? It's a shame because one of the things my clients demand is that this data be synchronized

I was frustrated by this so I built a private Gmail Add-On that let's me check if an email sender is an existing contact and if not, I can create them and their business in GHL. I didn't want a full sync as it would dump everything into GHL. I wanted to push only specific contacts.
It's a private add-on for now but if there is a lot of interest I could look at adding it to the Google Marketplace. It would have to be paid (low price) to cover dev and maintenance. I'd need to understand the key features needed.

This is a shame. This is a feature that the majority of CRMs offer. Since it's been this long HL should go the extra mile and integrate fully with Google's Workspace more fluidly. Drive, Calendar, and Google My Business are already featured, but they should have a single login, dedicated space, and connection for all the aforementioned. #urgent
