Half life on engagement score

Engagement scores are great, but the "fresher" it is, the more interesting it is. For example, if a contact submits a form, that might be worth 10 points, but 3 years later, it's not interesting.
The best solution I've seen to this is to add a "Half life" to each engagement score rule. You can define x days/months, after which that score halves in value, then halves again after another period has passed, halves again, etc. So it becomes less and less worth each cycle.
For example if I set the form rule's half-life to 3 months, it would be worth 10 points when they submit the form, then 5 points 3 months later, then 2.5 points (rounded up to 3) another 3 months later, then 1.25 (or 1 rounded down) another 3 points later, etc.
That way, we have the "freshly engaged" leads at the top, which is exactly what we need.
