Company Merge

Currently, you can merge duplicate contacts. Right now we are having an issue with multiple company names being used. Ex: ABC Roofing and ABC Roofing LLC. One employee fills out the form with one and another with the other. Would be helpful to merge those companies to be one and have all the employees associated with it.

Currently the Companies tab inside of Contacts does not have any bulk actions, other than "Delete". We urgently need a way of merging duplicate companies into one company record, associating all contacts into the remaining company.

If we don’t have the ability to merge duplicate Company objects (which have been in The Platform for a long time) how can we possibly expect to have the merge function for duplicate Custom Objects (which have been available far less time)?
A manual merge like we have for the Contact object seems like a rather straightforward development project. The fact we don’t have it appears to be a deliberate strategic decision by HighLevel, Inc.
Just bringing the Company object up to parity with the Contact object would go a long way.
Yes, we would like to have Company object workflow actions which act on one or more of the associated Contacts. But simply having the messages go to a group email (info@ or hello@) instead of individual contacts would mean most of the existing infrastructure should not need to be rebuilt… Should it?
