I would like to request the implementation of cascading/dependent dropdown fields as a native feature in the platform.

What is it?

Two or more dropdown fields where the options in the second field are dynamically filtered based on the value selected in the first. For example:

Select Department/State → only the Cities belonging to that department/state are shown.

Custom fields for Contacts

Custom fields for Opportunities

Native Forms

Why does it matter?

There is currently no native way to achieve this in the platform. This feature would significantly improve data quality, reduce input errors, and provide a much better user experience when capturing location-based or hierarchical data.
