Workflow triggers for Communities

I'm sure others will think of more, but for now I'd like a trigger when someone has joined a community. Not been invited to, but actually joined (accepted/set up their password).

Imagine if these triggers get expanded to:
*Addon purchased/cancelled
*Amount of Estimates reached
*Amount of Invoices reached
*Amount of Appointments reached
*Amount of Reviews reached
These triggers would be invaluable for sales team to reach out, send reward messages, provide action based rewards and more!

Honestly, if I send an email, and I say, "Click this link to join our community," and include a trigger link, then our clients should be added to the portal and community, ZERO friction.
BOOM!
Welcome message, done.
If they fill out an FB form, they should immediately get their access sent to them, and they are in. Because they want it. And we shouldn't make it harder for them.
Easy-peasy.

This is crucial for tracking KPIs and improving those KPIs. Seems insane that we can't have these two basic items if we are going to be able to increase useage of our communities.
Simple KPIs would be:
- Actually set up their community account
- Last time logged into their community account
So we need triggers for these.
WIth triggers we could have proper stats.
With these triggers we could then improve those KPIs for example by sending an email to people who have not set up their account in over 3 days. Or who have not logged in for a long time, etc.

How about to use the trigger "Group Access Granted"?
K

Netbuddy , that is only one of several that are needed.

Shivani Gera is there anything on the horizon for this feature? Thank you.

Me as well! I made a form for people to complete before joining and used that as a trigger but the extra friction is keeping people from signing up.
P

Holly Prentice I agree, but if they complete the form but don't actually join? I want to know when they have.
H
Holly Prentice
Paul Read exactly. Thats the problem I'm having. They complete the form, then don't join the community because they have to create an account there too and its too much friction.

A must have for any active community.
