I have a community for the Hospitality business that is set up with 2 subscription types and unfortunately the native subscription feature in the community does not suffice my subscription set up needs, nor does the type of deletion system the community has. I have a whole bunch of complex workflows set up for this to happen, but I am now also working setting up a new community for a major agency who has hundreds of clients and they want to have a two or 3 tier subscription for their community. This translates in hours of workflows to create based on various systems they have in place. Having additional subscription levels in the community native features would mean that if someone wants to sign up to only the basic subscription they would only pay an XX amount of $, however if they wished to have a PRO subscription (for example) paying $$$ a month, they would then receive other items included in the advertised packages. Therefore having the ability to add a bunch of subscription possibilities and not JUST ONE, it would make a lot of people's life much easier. IS there any chance to work on something like this asap? This is a feature that is required for potentially thousands of communities I will have to build.

This is a big deal and needs to be done ASAP. At least add an action for automations to cancel subscriptions so we can trigger when anyone who purchases the higher tier and the cancel the previous subscription automatically. Has anyone found a work around for this?

Would appreciate this feature as well to offer tiered subscriptions to the same membership where higher tiers get private access

Naming the feature "upsell" is looking at it from our perspective. I call the feature "membership tiers." But now I cannot find any of the suggestions that include the request for a middle channel type!
We currently have open channels (visible and accessible to all members).
And we have private channels (visible and accessible to only those members with permission).
I think we want an other channel type where access is locked (only authorized members can see what is in it) but the channel title is shown (if someone clicks on it they are told what they need to do to gain access).
(As a security measure the admin should have an ability to block particular members even if they meet the criteria).

You can already do this through automations by creating a product and then setting up a trigger for the sale of that product. grant access to group, then grant access to private channel in the automation.
If the product is set up as a subscription you can also have an automation to remove access if the purchase is cancelled.

I have two levels in my membership and this would be fantastic. I have to have to seperate community groups at the moment to allow the PRO members access to the Pro resources. Having a single group and multiple tiers/access would be the way to go.
