Glad to see this feature is already in progress! It will make a huge difference for "VIP" upsells, challenges, and special registration events we want to run inside of our community. I agree with a comment below that associating learning/course modules to a specific channel would also be incredibly helpful!

We've been holding off using communities because we need the ability to have private channels to keep our audience together in one group while restricting access to specific topics.

this would be amazing. because without a private channel. it still can cause customers to use other communication portals.

also will communities be attached to the highlevel app? or will it have its own app in the future?

Would be great if we could set who can post as well as who can see said posts and who can see replies.

Use case would be have a channel for support > allow users or user types to post > only admins can see and reply to post > poster can see admin responses

Hoping to use GHL to replace things like Slack, Skool, and Discord! So much hype around Skool right now, and it's going to be huge for GHL when we get the community mobile app for push notifications and ease of use!

also, allow admins to attach courses with locked channel or can add learner manually.
Use case - when access to a private channel is granted, the associated course should be accessible to the user.
Sometimes, we do not want the user to join the channel but we will manually allow access to the course by adding them to the course manually.

This would be excellent to keep students in the one group and be able to allow private access within different channels for the various areas of my membership!
