Currently, there is an issue with the event calendar where users are unable to manually adjust individual meetings within a recurring event. This becomes problematic when there are anomalies such as holidays or specific date changes. The inability to edit a single meeting separately from the series results in undesired adjustments to the entire event schedule.
š¦šš²š½š šš¼ š„š²š½šæš¼š±šš°š²:
- Set up a monthly recurring event on the first Wednesday of each month.
- Encounter a scenario where a specific meeting needs to be moved to a different date (e.g., from January 1 to January 8).
- Attempt to edit the individual meeting within the series and observe that changes affect the entire event schedule.
šš°š°š²š½šš®š»š°š² ššæš¶šš²šæš¶š®:
⢠Users should be able to manually adjust individual meetings within a recurring event without affecting the entire series.
⢠Implement a drag-and-drop feature to allow users to move specific meetings to different dates.
⢠Changes made to individual meetings should not automatically adjust other meetings in the series.
⢠Ensure that modifications made within the event calendar reflect accurately in external calendars (e.g., Google Calendar) for users who have added the events.
⢠Avoid sending out additional email notifications for events when making changes to individual meetings within a series.
This enhancement will provide users with the flexibility to manage anomalies or specific date changes within recurring events effectively.

This is actually essential for user experience. Most of our memberships are event driven, any anomalies in the calendar results in members missing out on events that are part of their program and that causes no end of grief for the host.
