Client Portal to securely SEND & RECEIVE documents

It would be beneficial for Sub-Accounts to have a client portal that is able to securely Send and Receive documents and files.
This can also be another profit center. The idea here would be to include an amount of “base” storage and have an upgrade available for more storage space if needed.
The type of service to model could be from one of these websites:
Use Cases:
I have accountants and financial advisors that need to get files from their clients. Their clients do not feel comfortable using dropbox, google drive, or onedrive.
Types of files are typically: personal documents, bank statements, tax returns, account statements, etc.
Other markets that could have a use for this with similar types of files:
Attorney, Healthcare, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, title companies, business to business file transfers (larger files), Financial services (CPA, Bookkeeping, Financial Advisors)
Based on the sample companies I provided I believe this would be a great addition to the software and potentially an additional profit center for all.

Would be awesome to have a "project tracker" as well as this in one tool. So my clients can see deliverables and share documents back and forth.

Shivani Gera Do you know if it will be a paid feature? Could you please share a bit more about how you envision it working? Thank you.

I'd love to be able to still use GDrive etc and just use GHL as a front-end that just catalogs files that are ACTUALLY stored in GDrive... Many of us businesses still use that as the primary unified storage, because having different places to store stuff means we have multiple versions floating around, and that's an opportunity for mistakes to happen.
Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox are very secure, but people tend to believe they have the feel of "consumer" and not "business professional security".

Caleb Christopher this would be great or for GHL to have their own native storage but allow us to link to Google drive, one drive or Dropbox if preferred

Shivani Gera ideally this is like docs/contracts how we pick the sender and recipient. You need to see how the industry leaders do this: https://www.moxo.com/

Thanks Jacob Radcliffe
Yes it will work in a similar manner. Contracts would be a different section and shared files a different one, just to differentiate

Shivani Gera go sign up for moxo. The service is awesome. You just send a client a link and then the portal has a bunch of internal automations. So everything is ordered sequentially. So step 1) sign doc step 2) fill out this form step 3) connect a FB account step 4) etc. So for creative agencies this is great because you can do a contract signature, have people supply critical info, and then send them to a leadsie link to connect accounts. It's a lot more structured than a funnel because they are accountable for the steps. Ideally we can even send people straight from a purchase funnel into this proper client portal flow. Moxo does that with magic links.

Yes! I am a CPA and pay for another third party Secure Client Portal. We use this to send/receive sensitive tax documents and returns. Having this feature in GHL would enable us to integrate automations for all our tax work.

This will be a great addition. I'm new to GHL, but I would like to store client contracts where there's a repository for the client to always have access.

End customer portal is what you meant for customers of our client businesses. We need it with many more features. Upvote here.

YES, health counselors need their client's personal portal where they can upload/and update their insurance info, store their credit card, and book appointments privately.
